FIREPLACE POETRY

Hi my name is __________. I AM strong and brave.

I may just be a kid, but I know who defeated the grave.

Although I am young, There’s a power inside me.

With Christ, I can do anything – Just watch, and you’ll see.

When things get hard, I’ll keep my head held high –

Because I am strong and valuable – I was created one of a kind.

I can be a superhero – A mom or a dad.

I could even be a chemist, who specializes in RAD.

THIS life is beautiful, just like me.

It’s full of possibilities, but only I hold the key.

I can choose to be honest. I can choose to be strong. I can keep moving forward – even when things go wrong.

I can choose to have courage, I can choose to be kind. I can choose to make a difference – in lives other than mine.

I may just be a kid, but there’s a power inside me. If you could be anything – who would you, choose to be?
