God, I don’t hear you. God, I don’t understand. Why is all this happening? This is nothing like I planned.

Life is a nightmare. PLEASE – turn on the lights! I’m tired of all the chaos. I’m tired of all the fights.

God, where are you? Help me to understand. I’m tired of the valley – I’m ready to take a stand!

God, I need you. God, show me the way. I know breakthrough is coming – I just wish I knew the day!

Story behind the Poem:

Have you ever felt like God went silent on you? Like you keep praying and pouring your heart out – only to never hear back, or even get some type of revelation? This poem was written during one of those seasons in my life.
