FIREPLACE POETRY

For you, I would do anything.

For you, I’d risk it all.

For you, I would climb the mountain.

For you, I’d risk the fall.

For you, I would travel the world

and leave this life behind –

Because as long as I am with you

there is no concept of time.

For you, I’d wage a war.

For you, I’d become a 10.

For you, I’d give up everything.

For you, I’d fight to win.

For you, I would vow to forever

and commit to you alone.

As long as I am with you

there is no place like home.
