FIREPLACE POETRY

Shadrach, Meshsch, Abednego

HE stood in the fire with them long ago

In the trial

through the change –

even when demons were chanting their names.

Jesus, Jesus!

They pled Jesus, Jesus!

They stood in the fire

they saw the flames,

but they moved through it

with no pain

Jesus, Jesus!

Because of Jesus, Jesus!

The Devil might try to knock you down

But never forget –

who wears the crown!
