Happy Good Friday! Below is one of my favorite poems – It’s a poem about grace and love. If able, please share it on whatever platform you can! – ALEX 🙂
When you hung on the cross
You already knew me by name
You knew I’d doubt you
Yet, still you remained.
When you hung on the cross
You knew my future and my past
Instead of condemning me
You showed grace that would last.
My God, My God!
It’s the cross I don’t understand
You knew I’d be a sinner
So why reach out your hand?
You knew I’d mock you
You knew I’d turn away
So why do it?
Why stay?
You knew what you were doing
You knew I needed saved
You loved me enough to die
You loved me enough to borrow a grave.
