FIREPLACE POETRY

Lord,

My heart is heavy.

Lord,

I can’t find the way.

Lord,

I need you

Please listen –

When I pray.

Lord,

I feel broken

The wound never heals

The more I try

The more it’s revealed.

Lord,

I need you

I don’t want to be a fraud

I want to be faithful

I don’t need an applaud.

Lord,

Guide me

Never let me go

Heal my heart

Direct the show.
