FIREPLACE POETRY

I may be in a valley

I may feel so confused

but no matter what

I will lean on you.

In the darkness

In the light

even if the shadows

distort my sight.

My God, My God

I know you are good

I know you’ll make a way

I just wish I understood.

Even in the valley

even as I wait

help me to remember

you are never late!
