Don’t tell me to shut up

Don’t tell me to stand down

Don’t tell me to be different

I was born to wear a crown.

Don’t you dare threaten me

You have no idea who I am

Don’t tell me I can’t do it.

With Christ, I know I can.

I’ll climb life’s mountain

even if I have blood on my hands

I was born to be a fighter

No matter who you think I am.
